Just this morning, it was confirmed that Disney had signed Priyanka Chopra to feature as one of the voices in Planes, a spin off to the 2006 smash hit Cars.

"Priyanka will lend her voice to a character called Ishani in the film. The makers were looking for a voice from India who could do justice to the Asian character. Priyanka will soon dub for the character," said a source to Hindustan Times.

"Priyanka will be dubbing for the English version and later it will be decided whether she will be dubbing for the Hindi version as well," added the source

The film, directed by TV veteran Klay Hall (King of the Hill, Father of the Pride), will be released theatrically on 9 August 2013.
