Glowing reviews for 'Iron Man 3'
The third film in the Iron Man franchise, Iron Man 3 opened at select markets today, and if initial reports are anything to go by, Marvel/Disney have another blockbuster at hand.
The film revolving around billionaire playboy and industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), and his battle against an enemy called the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley), who threatens to destroy everything dear to Stark, is currently "Certified Fresh"on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with an astounding 93% from 46 reviews.
Nick de Semlyen from Empire gave the film four stars (out of five) saying: "If this does turn out to be Downey Jr.'s final solo outing, it's a very strong exit." He called the film a 'blockbuster' stating that the film's major flaw was Rebecca Hall's so-so performance.
The Mirror too gave the film a glowing review calling it "thrilling, great looking and with a refreshingly comical tone," and that it was "everything a summer blockbuster should be."
Film 4's Michael Leader felt it was the best Marvel movie to date and that "Shane Black's witty, daring continuation of the Iron Man series defies expectations at every turn."

The film also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley and is in select theatres now.
