Katrina silences detractors, signs two big films
The only thing Katrina Kaif is been in the news for recently is her alleged link up with budding superstar Ranbir Kapoor. She hasn't had much to harp about on the film front — sure she has Bang Bang and Dhoom 3 up for release, but with arch rival Deepika Padukone, devouring the box office this year, and grabbing a bunch of plum roles, Kat was pretty much left eating dust. Or so we thought.
Quite the contrary in fact. The diva has been quietly busy. She's just signed Abhishek Kapoor's remake of Great Expectations, Fitoor, opposite newbie du jour, Sushant Singh Rajput, who's on a roll after the sleeper hit Shuddh Desi Romance, earlier this year

And that's not all. She's managed to twist boyfriend Ranbir's arm too and got herself a plum part in the latter's home production, Jagga Jasoos, a franchise which has Ranbir playing a detective.
Surely a film each with Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor and an upcoming superstar Sushant, will keep the detractors at bay right?

Dhoom 3 is scheduled to release Christmas 2013, Bang Bang hits theatres next summer, while Jagga Jasoos and Fitoor will roll in November and early next year respectively.
