Shortly after on set pictures of Gunday surfaced earlier this week, Priyanka Chopra, who's currently in Kolkata shooting for the film was asked about how she felt playing another Bengali character after last years smash hit Barfi!.
"I think Bengali girls are beautiful and bold and I love playing bold and beautiful girls. I am very happy to be playing Bengali characters," said Chopra at a press conference on Tuesday.
"My character is a Bengali girl, she is called Nandita. We must not talk so much about the film right now. We are very very far from release. It is just just the beginning.
This is one of our first few schedules. Slowly once we are done with the film, we will unfold a lot more about it," she added.
Starring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor alongside Chopra, Gunday recounts the story of two coal thieves, who go on become powerful members of the mafia.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra the film releases this November.
