'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' is Ranbir's biggest box office opener ever
As expected, Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which opened this morning has taken a bumper opening across cities in India. In fact, sources at Box Office India claim that in some cities like Delhi, the opening is historic with collections ousting even huge films like Dabangg 2 and Ek Tha Tiger.

The opening of the film is better at elite multiplex screens, but in mass dominated centres too the film has opened in the region of 70% which is impressive considering the flavour of the film and the fact that the lead of the film, Ranbir Kapoor is just ten films old.
The film was released in around 3100 screens across India and with a 90-100% start at multiplexes and 60-70% at single screens it's set to have a huge day.
Abroad too, the opening of the film is expected to be huge, as the craze for the film is unprecedented.
Along with Kapoor, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur.
