Strange are the ways of B-Town. Here fortunes turn overnight. And who can vouch for that better than Arjun Kapoor? From being an assistant director and referring to Priyanka Chopra as 'madam', he's now cast opposite her in Yash Raj Films' Gunday.
"Priyanka was playing the lead in Salaam-e-Ishq. Arjun used to explain the scenes to Priyanka and used to call her madam. And now he is her co-star. Arjun can't believe he has been signed opposite her and has already started shooting for the film," said a source to NDTV.
And Priyanka is not the only Chopra Kapoor is close to. He made his debut last year with her cousin Parineeti in Ishaqzaade.
Says Arjun, "I guess it's destiny that the Chopra surname has been beautifully intertwined with me at such a nascent stage in my career. I hope it continues for years to come."
